Pi Beta Phi
Southern Methodist University
A Letter from VP of Membership

The sisters of SMU Pi Beta Phi are excited to meet all of the incredible young women going through recruitment in the Spring of 2020. Two of Pi Beta Phi’s core values are sincere friendship and lifelong commitment. We want everyone to have the opportunity to create genuine and irreplaceable friendships, just as we have as members of this chapter. We are comprised of 203 wonderful and unique members who will support your passions and endeavors and encourage you to be the best version of yourself. The members of this chapter come from all over the country and the world.

We have members ranging from California to New York, from Florida to Illinois, Texas, and even Mexico! We take pride in how accomplished and involved our Pi Phi women are in the classroom, around campus, and in the Dallas community. Our sisters participate in athletics- such as cheerleading, lacrosse, and horseback riding- and philanthropies, like Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity, and Best Buddies. They are also members of academic organizations such as the Hunt Scholarship Program, BBA Scholars Program, University Honors Program, Hilltop Scholars, Delta Sigma Pi, and Alpha Kappa Psi.

We cannot wait to get to know you in the upcoming months to show you how Pi Phi has provided us with incredible friendships and share our sisterhood with you. We hope to see you at our two events in the fall- Arrowspike and Making Spirits Bright- to support our philanthropy, Read > Lead > Achieve! Pi Phi has become our home away from home here at Southern Methodist University, and we are looking forward to showing you how it has had such a wonderful impact on all of our lives.

Pi Phi Love,

Rachel Warren
