Each August, the Texas Beta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi returns to campus with excitement, ready to begin Recruitment Week and welcome the amazing women who could soon become our sisters.To join our chapter, potential new members must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. For incoming first-years, this can be shown through high school transcripts, while upper-class students may share my.SMU or transfer records. Beyond academics, our members commit to staying in good standing with SMU and Pi Beta Phi, while actively engaging in our sisterhood, service projects, and campus events.Our pledge classes bring together women from coast to coast - California to New York, and everywhere in between. The week ends in one of our favorite traditions: celebrating as our new sisters run home, laughter in the air and “Ring Ching Ching” echoing across the lawn.
